Ali Mostafavi, BDS, DDS

Prosthodontist, Fellow of the AAID, Past Clinical Director, AAID MaxiCourse

Dr. Mostafavi graduated in 1991 as a Dentist and started his private practice focusing on restorative dentistry.He provided implant dentistry services in his office starting 1999 and graduated from AAID MaxiCourse in 2005. He continued his studies in field of Prosthodontics at Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester,NY where he graduated in 2018. His practice is limited to Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Dr. Shankar Iyer, NJ

Director AAID MaxiCourse Abu Dhabi, UAE and AAID MaxiCourse India, Past-President AAID, Clinical Assistant Professor Rutgers School of Dental Medicine

Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1994 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He taught as a clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers’ University Dental School, New Jersey.

Dr. Bart Silverman

Dr. Bart Silverman graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1982 Summa Cum Laude and received his doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1986 from Fairleigh Dickinson Jr. School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Westchester County Medical Center in 1989 and was chief resident in his final year. He is in private practice limited to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New City, N.Y. and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He has been lecturing in the field of implant dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Silverman is an attending Physician at Westchester County Medical Center, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Clinical Associate Professor at New York Medical College, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery New York University School of Dentistry and faculty at NYU Post Grad Continuing Education Dental Implant Program.

James L. Rutkowski, DMD, Ph.D.

Dr.Rutkowski is a Diplomate of the american Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Oral Implantology (JOI) and Past-President of the ABOI/ID. Dr.Rutkowski has a wealth of clinical experience in implant placement,esthetic surgery,bone and soft tissue grafting, and implant prosthetics. He lectures internationally on bone grafting,surgical anatomy for implant dentistry,pharmacology,and sedation techniques. James L. Rutkowski,DMD,PhD,received a BS degree from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 1972. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1976 and a PhD in Pharmacology from Duquesne University in 2008. Dr.Rutkowski has maintained a dental implant practice in Clarion,Pennsylvania for thirty one years.

Steven R. Singer, DDS

Dr. Singer graduated from New York College of Dentistry in 1982 and further pursued post graduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1994 from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and ever since he has been involved in Academia. He is currently Professor and Chair,Dept of Diagnostic Sciences, Rutgers School of Dental Medicine .He is the author of chapters in reference books, has been involved in numerous research projects and has numerous articles to his credit. He has lectured internationally and nationally on the subject.

Apolinar Madrigal, DDS

Apolinar Madrigal, DDS, is a general dentist who operates dental practices in both California and Mexico. He graduated with honors from the University of Salle School of Dentistry, Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Science. Since then, he has become a member of the faculty of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), as well as AAID/MaxiCourse (Asia). He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The California Dental Association and The Stanislaus Dental Society. Dr. Madrigal is an internationally recognized lecturer, who presents on myriad subjects including Implant Dentistry, Clinical Photography and Minimally Invasive Veneers throughout the United States, Mexico, Abu Dhabi, India, and Brazil. With a focus on cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry, he believes that paying attention to the details is what separates good and great cases.

Paresh Patel, DDS

Dr. Paresh Patel is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and the Medical College of Georgia/AAID MaxiCourse. He is a fellow of the Misch-Resnik Implant Institute and a diplomate of the ICOI. Dr. Patel has placed more than 5,000 implants, has published numerous articles in leading dental journals, and has worked as a lecturer and clinical consultant on dental implants and prosthetics for several companies. He maintains private practices in Lenoir and Mooresville, North Carolina.

Timothy F. Kosinski, DDS

Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry

Dr. Timothy Kosinski graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from Wayne State University School of Medicine. An affiliate adjunct clinical professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, he serves on the editorial review board of numerous dental journals. Dr. Kosinski is a diplomate of the ABOI/ID, ICOI and American Society of Osseointegration, and a fellow of the AAID, ACD and ICD. He has a mastership in the AGD, from which he also received the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition award in 2009 and 2014.

Dr. Taylor Manalili

Dr. Taylor Manalili is director of clinical prosthodontics at Glidewell. Since joining Glidewell in 2018 as the company’s first-ever Fellow, she has conducted clinical research and performed advanced restorative work, including implant placement, chairside restorations and full-mouth rehabilitations. Dr. Manalili earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as a certificate in the advanced specialty of prosthodontics from Stony Brook University. Throughout her residency, Dr. Manalili served as a clinical instructor for predoctoral students, and provided lectures to students, residents and local dentists.

Dr. Neil Park

Dr. Neil Park is scientific chair of the Glidewell Symposium and Glidewell’s vice president of clinical affairs. After receiving his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry, he practiced dentistry for 12 years before beginning his career in the dental implant field. Dr. Park has held top leadership positions at companies such as Nobel Biocare and Henry Schein, and he is recognized for his work in the creation and management of innovative programs designed to bring new technology to private practitioners. He is responsible for the development and implementation of key changes in the predoctoral implant curriculum of universities throughout North America. He joined Glidewell in 2016, where he now oversees clinical research & development, as well as training and education programs in implant, restorative and esthetic dentistry. In addition, he serves as editor-in-chief of Chairside® magazine.

Dr. Amit Vora

Dr. Vora earned his B.D.S. degree from Nair Hospital Dental College, in Bombay, India in 1992, and his Master of Dental Surgery degree in Periodontics from the same institution in 1995. After coming to the United States, he earned his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He did a 2 year General Practice Residency at the Staten Island University Hospital, where he was the Chief Resident in his second year.

Dr. Rachana Hegde

Dr. Rachana Hegde is an Associate Professor, Director of Implant Education and Director of Periodontics at College of Dental Medicine (CODM) at Roseman University of Health Sciences, South Jordan Utah. Dr. Hegde received her graduate degree in Dental Surgery from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2005. She completed her post-doctoral education program in Periodontics at College of Dentistry, The Ohio State University in 2014. She served as the chief resident at the final year of her residency. In the same year, she received her Masters of Science degree in Dentistry from The Ohio State University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Implantology and the International Journal of Clinical Implant Dentistry. She has authored and co-authored scientific papers on periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Hegde is currently an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Research and American Academy of Dental Education.
